Job summary

PUMA SE in Selangor, Malaysia is seeking an Executive, Purchasing SEA to manage PO creation and end-to-end procurement processes across Merchandising, Planning, Sales Operations, Logistics and vendor/factory partners. You will ensure timely PO placement, correct vendor codes, and proactive issue communication to drive seamless supply chain operations.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management and at least 3 years of experience, preferably from retail/wholesale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or relevant studied.
• A minimum of 3 years working experience. Preferably candidates from retail and wholesale business.

Responsibilities

• Place Purchase Orders based on Sales Orders, for each Order Placement Dates. Ensure Purchase Orders are issued accurately and in a timely manner.
• Work with factories to track POs until they are ready for shipment to SEA countries. Perform and track intercompany transfers Inter & Intra-region
• Timely creation & amendment to vendor code when requests are submitted.
• Ensure proactive communication of issues to various departments and enable process improvements.

Task 1

• Place Purchase Orders based on Sales Orders, for each Order Placement Dates. Ensure Purchase Orders are issued accurately and in a timely manner.
• Work closely with stakeholders on all end-to-end process matters, including Merchandising, Planning, Sales Operations, Logistics, and vendor or factory.
• Follow up closely on upcoming project orders with Merch to avoid missed orders.
• Purchasing related end-of-the-end tasks e.g., PO creation, Filtering Outcome, PO Checks, Vendor or Factory communication, Parking of invoices, GR, Defect handling and resolution.

Task 2

• Work with factories to track POs until they are ready for shipment to SEA countries. Perform and track intercompany transfers Inter & Intra-region
• Actively use existing tools and encourage cross functional departments to adopt the same.

Task 3

• Timely creation & amendment to vendor code when requests are submitted.

Task 4

• Ensure proactive communication of issues to various departments and enable process improvements.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or relevant studied.

Professional

• A minimum of 3years of working experience. Preferably candidates from retail and wholesale business.
