A leading flour milling company in Seberang Perai is seeking an experienced individual to oversee the operation of the flour warehouse. Responsibilities include coordinating packaging processes and ensuring compliance with all food safety standards. Job description
Job Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the efficient operation of the flour warehouse, including packing and cartooning, pollard processing and packaging, and feed flour packing.
  • Coordinates with marketing regarding sales orders.
  • Plans flour blending and product packing (including special products and by‑products), and collaborates with millers to ensure sufficient flour supply for sales orders.
  • Manages daily operational staffing for 1kg, 25kg, and bulk loading packaging.
  • Schedules for machine cleaning, bin/silo cleaning, and fumigation.
  • Addresses and resolves all packaging‑related problems.
  • Monitors packing department productivity and evaluates the effectiveness of packing plans.
  • Monitors flour and by‑product inventory levels, including delivery and production.
  • Responsible for accompanying and providing explanations to auditors and visitors during site visits.
  • Responsible for ensuring production conforms to all applicable food safety standards and plant pest control management requirements.
  • Contributes to production order management and planning.
  • Handles production reporting within the SAP system.
Education & Qualification
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree / Post Graduate Diploma / Professional Degree in relevant field / equivalent qualification recognized OR at least 5 years of working experience in the related field
