About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Operations Executive to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced, complex business environments and enjoy supporting cross-functional teams across multiple geographies.

As an Operations Executive, you will play a critical role in supporting our Marketing, Business, and Profit Center teams, ensuring smooth trade operations, logistics coordination, internal controls, and business performance monitoring across our global network.

Trade & Business Operations Support

Assist marketing and business teams in daily sales activities, logistics, trade, and operational tasks.

Support Profit Center Heads and Business Managers in trade processing for commodities such as rice, cashew, cocoa, sesame, soya bean, and others, based on agreed costings.

Provide operational assistance to teams in Africa and India, ensuring strong internal checks and safeguarding HQ interests.

Manage and monitor banking requirements for overseas subsidiaries.

Arrange monthly and quarterly business review meetings to discuss financial and operational performance.

Oversee accurate processing of payments for overseas subsidiaries, ensuring compliance and preventing erroneous or fraudulent transactions.

Logistics & Shipment Coordination

Handle daily logistics operations and outbound shipment planning across multiple product categories.

Coordinate with the freight desk, shipping agents, treasury team, overseas suppliers, and HQ departments to ensure timely and smooth shipment deliveries.

Compliance, Controls & Governance

Support overseas subsidiaries and internal teams by monitoring adherence to HQ SOPs, internal controls, and compliance standards.

Review trade and non-trade agreements/contracts before execution by local teams or HQ.

Suggest improvements and develop new standard operating procedures aligned with evolving business needs.

Business Unit & Trade Monitoring

Monitor and help manage the performance of the business unit.

Participate in reviewing and monitoring commodity-related activities, including futures trading and forex hedging.

Handle trade and contract management for overseas companies based in Dubai.

Potential opportunities for overseas travel based on performance to ensure proper implementation of set procedures and gain on-ground operational exposure for future coordination and control.

🎓 Key Competencies & Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree (Preferably 2nd Class Upper Honours) in Business, Finance, Science, or related disciplines.

3–5 years of relevant working experience.

High proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Navision (NAV) is an advantage.

Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Self-driven, proactive, and demonstrates strong initiative.

Able to work efficiently under tight deadlines and time-sensitive situations.

Comfortable navigating complex, fast-changing business environments.
