Job summary

A food and beverage company in Subang Jaya is seeking a candidate responsible for food development processes and office administration. The ideal applicant will have at least two years of experience in the food and beverage industry and possess a Professional Certificate in relevant fields. Responsibilities include liaising with departments, assisting in product development, and ensuring food safety standards. Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities
  • Assist on all matters pertaining to the overall food development process.
  • Responsible for office administration and preparing a proper filling of all operations related documents.
  • Assist in updating Costing & Product Analysis.
  • To write product feedback form and ensure to convey the info to the related department
  • To perform initial product/ingredient sourcing and communicate with suppliers for specifications needed.
  • Liaise with related departments regarding Food Development matters.
  • To write product feedback form and ensure to convey the info to the related department.
  • To assist in coordinating the New Product Management Committee (NPMC) and ensure the session runs smoothly - NPMC Coordination
  • Organize Sensory Evaluation Sessions according to process flow when required – Sensory Evaluation Result These include preparing new product tasting for Internal Testing / Top Management.
  • Able to work independently, responsible, and self-motivated.
  • Proficient in MS Office & Google Drive Applications, i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint and etc
Job Requirements
  • Possesses own transport and able to travel outstation.
  • High integrity and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Computer literate & able to work independently.
  • Required language(s): English, Bahasa Melayu.
  • Strong knowledge and ability in kitchen management, recipe formulation, food presentation, food safety, food handling, and hygiene.
  • At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the food and beverage industry.
  • Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate in Food & Beverage Services, Management, Culinary Art, Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management/ Food Technology or equivalent.
