Job summary

A leading marketing firm in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Compliance Officer to manage and ensure adherence to company policies and legal requirements. The role involves supporting Independent Business Owners (IBOs) with inquiries, conducting investigations into suspected policy violations, and collaborating with various departments. Ideal candidates should have at least one year of experience in a customer service or compliance role, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. This full-time position operates Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 6 PM.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Respond to compliance-related questions from IBOs.

  • Conduct site visits to verify reported information.

Job description

This role plays a key role in protecting the company’s interests by ensuring that all Independent Business Owners (IBOs) comply with company policies and regulations. This position also ensures adherence to legal requirements and is responsible for conducting timely and thorough investigations into reported cases.

Responsibilities
  • IBO Support and Inquiry Handling: Respond promptly and professionally to compliance-related questions and complaints from IBOs, offering clear guidance and support.
  • Investigation and Misconduct Handling: Conduct detailed investigations into suspected violations, gather relevant evidence, and prepare official reports or notices when policies or agreements are breached.
  • Dispute Resolution: Support the fair and neutral resolution of disputes between IBOs and the company.
  • Policy Knowledge and Communication: Maintain a strong understanding of company policies, rules, and codes of conduct.
  • Collaboration and Escalation Management: Work closely with internal departments such as Legal, Finance, and Human Resources to handle and resolve compliance issues and escalations efficiently.
  • Site Visits and Inspections: Carry out on-site visits to investigate compliance concerns and verify reported information when needed.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain organized and accurate records of compliance activities, including investigations, findings, and outcomes.
  • Ad-Hoc and Event Support: Assist with additional tasks and provide support during company events or as needed.
Qualifications

Experienced in a customer service or compliance role, preferably within the MLM or direct selling industry.

Min one (1) year working experience.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with internal stakeholders, and external parties.

Possess strong analytical skills and able to identify and assess compliance risks and develop effective solutions.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other relevant software tools is required.

Work location: Bukit Jalil (nearby Pavilion Bukit Jalil)

Working day : Monday to Friday (9am - 6pm)
