Job summary

A retail trading company in Seri Kembangan is seeking an IT Support Specialist to analyze technical issues and manage system integration tasks. Candidates should possess at least a Diploma in IT and have a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience. Proficiency in English, Malay, and Mandarin is required for liaising with vendors. This role involves providing system support and conducting user training.

Job description
Job Descriptions:
  • Analyze technical issues, performing root cause analysis and proposing timely solutions, as well as escalating to other parties as appropriate.
  • Participate in the project and implementation of the system.
  • System integration, responsibilities for coordinating tasks and resources related to system integration, validation of testing and implementation.
  • Administration & maintenance of solution, user management, access rights/authorization management, adjust/update master data configuration/enhancements, create and adjust validation workflow, define approvers, escalation paths.
  • Provide support and training for the relevant system.
  • Understanding / conducting user requirements and translating into system requirement document.
  • Work closely with Finance and E-Commerce team members, and vendor partner (if applicable).
  • Able to assist in any ad-hoc tasks assigned by the superior.
Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Information Technology (IT) or any related fields.
  • Minimum 1 year of proven working experience in FICO and E-Commerce with support and configuration.
  • Hands on experience in system support of Business Application.
  • Required language(s): English, Malay, Mandarin. (Mandarin speaker required to liaise with vendor from China)
  • Systematic and positive problem-solving approach.
  • Strong planning, initiative and ability to work independently.
  • Able to work on both technical and functional areas implementation.
  • Experience in SQL, functions Stored Procedures, view functions and job scheduler are adding advantage.
  • A foundational understanding of accounting system will be beneficial.
