Job summary

A leading airline group in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Executive for Interline Processing. This role involves overseeing timely processing, managing correspondence, and ensuring compliance with operational standards. Candidates should possess a degree in Accounting or Finance and have 0-2 years of relevant experience. Knowledge of the airline industry is preferred, and strong accounting principles are essential.

Qualifications

  • 0-2 years of experience in Accounting and/or Finance.
  • Possess strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
  • Experience in the airline industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate and solve tasks raised by the system.
  • Manage correspondence and interline agreements.
  • Support team in negotiating the SPA with qualitative and quantitative analysis.
  • Ensure compliance to Service standards and SLAs.
  • Report any potential risks and breaches of compliance.

Role Purpose

To ensure interline processing are done on timely manner as per agreed SLA

Key Accountabilities
  • Operational: Investigate and solve tasks raised by the system (e.g. interline audit, rejections, etc.)
  • Operational: Manage correspondence; Manage interline, codeshare and MASwings agreements
  • Operational: Support team in charge of negotiating the SPA with qualitative and quantitative analysis and report; Manage incentive settlement and reporting; Perform other operational reporting if required
  • Governance & Policies: Report any potential risks and breach of compliance to supervisor
  • Ensure compliance to Service standards / SLAs to ensure appropriate service levels are maintained
  • Ensure compliance to IATA, alliances policies and procedures.
  • Organisation & People: Act as a pro‑active team member to ensure cordial work environment
  • Undertake additional responsibilities to support / replace other team member roles if required
Qualifications & Experience

Degree in Accounting/ Finance and/ or professional qualification (ACCA, ICAEW, CPA, MIA, etc.) with 0-2 years experience in Accounting and/ or Finance

Skills & Knowledge
  • Technical : Possess strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices and internal policy; Well versed with ERP and other business / accounting tools
  • Managerial : Understand his / her role in the team and how it impacts the overall outcome of the process. Provide day‑to‑day guidance and help to officers in the team
  • Industry Knowledge : Highly prefer knowledge of airline industry or related
