Job summary

A leading glove manufacturer in Malaysia is seeking a communications officer to support internal communication platforms and engage employees through various programs. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Social Science or Human Science and preferably some experience in a similar role. Responsibilities include managing communication frameworks, preparing internal messages, and coordinating engagement initiatives to strengthen the company's values and culture.

Job Description

Support the development and management of internal communication platforms, employee surveys, engagement and recognition programs, culture-building initiatives, and employer branding activities to ensure effective communication, engagement, and alignment with Hartalega’s values.

Duties And Responsibilities
  • Assisting in developing and implementing robust communication framework and acting as gatekeeper of Hartalega’s communication platforms
  • Ensuring effective development, cascade and dialogue/ feedback on internal communications
  • Preparing internal communications regarding organizational programs or policies
  • Administering employee surveys and Voice of Customer survey
  • Assisting in designing and administering employee surveys and Voice of Customer survey
  • Assisting in driving culture building programs to instil the values of Honesty, Innovation, Excellence, Learning, Dedication & Synergy
  • Coordinating and executing employee engagement programs, e.g., Hartagize and executing sports club activities, festive activities, etc
  • Assisting to execute and assess effectiveness of recognition programs, e.g., Hartanian of the Month (HOTM), Hartanian of the Year (HOTY)
  • Assisting to strengthen employer branding including plan and gather information for external recognition, e.g., (SME and Entrepreneurs Business Awards (SEBA) ExcelaRlence Awards (EXA))
  • Managing and maintaining communication platforms including Workplace and Hartanet
Requirements

Education
Degree in any related field (Social Science/ Human Science)

Work Experience
Fresh graduate or minimum 1 year experience in similar roles and responsibilities preferably in manufacturing.
