Job Description
- Verify and process financial transactions and payments, including tenancy administrative fee, stamp duty payment and/or other charges.
- Prepare payment and ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor and statutory payments in accordance with company policies.
- Review vendor invoices and supporting documents to ensure proper authorisation, coding, and compliance with approved budgets.
- Issue invoices, credit notes, debit notes and refund in accordance with approvals.
- Maintain and reconcile tenant accounts in coordination with the Sunway Malls’ Finance dept.
- Monitor tenant payment performance and follow-up on outstanding amounts.
- Initiate reminders, collection letters and other recovery actions in line with Sunway Malls’ credit control procedures.
- Prepare month-end closing, accruals, and financial audits by providing necessary schedules and documentation.
- Prepare monthly and ad-hoc financial reports and debt aging reports.
- Support Sunway Malls’ Leasing, Tenancy Admin, and other internal departments by providing relevant documentation and financial updates.
- Assist in preparing related documents, reconciliation schedules and other ad-hoc matters as assigned.
Job Requirement
- Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- 2–3 years of working experience in finance or property management
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel, Word, Power Point) and familiarity with accounting systems
- Good communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
