Job summary

A leading insurance company in Petaling Jaya is seeking a candidate to manage Employee Benefits operations and coordinate departmental activities. Responsibilities include processing daily operations, liaising with internal departments, and handling client enquiries. The ideal candidate should have a diploma or degree in IT or Business Administration and 1-2 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Project Management is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 - 2 years working experience in administration and knowledge in insurance industries.

Responsibilities

  • Perform customary personnel and job supervisory duties.
  • Process daily operations of Employee Benefits, New Business, Renewal.
  • Liaise with internal departments on daily operations issues.
  • Prepare monthly statistics and review reports with Department Head.
  • Handle enquiries from clients effectively.
  • Serve as communication channel in EB matters.
  • Support ad hoc projects when required.

Responsibilities

Report and receive instructions from Head of Department. Performs customary personnel and job supervisory duties required to ensure effective coordination and accomplishment of Section Activities.

Processing daily operations of Employee Benefits (EB), New Business, Renewal and policy movement in a timely manner.

Follow through the policy movement (entrance, alteration, exist) are properly executed and improve productivity.

Responsible in liaising with internal department such as EB Sales, Finance and underwriting on daily operations issues.

Prepare monthly statistics, SLAs and report review by Department Head.

Review existing operations workflow and contribute ideas to improve existing workflow in EB.

Handling enquiries from clients in a timely and effective manner.

Serve as a communication channel in EB matters and system issues from various branches and inter-department.

Provide support for ad hoc project (UAT testing) as and when is required.

Update procedural manual and forms on ISO standard and meet statutory requirement.

Any other duties that may be assigned by the Department Head by time to time.

Requirements

Candidate with Diploma or Degree in IT or Business Administration or relevant disciplines is encouraged to apply.

Preferable with minimum of 1 - 2 years working experience in administration and knowledge in insurance industries.

Familiar with Microsoft Office and Project Management.
