As a Creative Executive, you will be the vital production engine supporting Malaysia Healthcare's creative team. You will work closely with and assist the Senior Executive to bring our brand's visual stories to life.
Your primary focus is execution, taking concepts and turning them into polished videos, photos, and designs. Whether you are setting up camera gear for a shoot, editing social media reels, or adapting graphics for different platforms, your work ensures our team delivers high‑quality content on time. This is the perfect role for a creative professional looking to refine their technical skills while contributing to a national agenda.
Role Description
- End‑to‑End Editing: Handle the daily "heavy lifting" of video editing. This includes cutting raw footage, syncing audio, colour grading, and sound mixing to deliver polished videos.
- Social Media Optimisation: Rapidly adapt video content for different platforms. This includes resizing videos for TikTok/Reels (9:16) vs. YouTube (16:9) and adding burning‑in subtitles/captions (a critical, time‑consuming task for healthcare accessibility).
- Motion Graphics Support: Create standard motion assets such as animated logos, "lower thirds" (name tags in videos), and intro/outro cards to ensure all MHTC videos have a consistent professional look.
- Stock Asset Sourcing: Search for and select appropriate stock footage and background music that fits the mood of the campaign when shooting isn"t possible.
- Graphic Design & Corporate Collateral – Marketing Materials: Design and update tactical marketing assets including digital banners, social media carousels, email newsletters, and event bunting/posters.
- Corporate Support: Assist other departments by polishing PowerPoint presentations and internal documents to ensure they meet the MHTC corporate identity standards before important meetings.
- Template Management: Create and maintain "plug‑and‑play" templates (e.g., for festive wishes or standard announcements) so the team can produce content quickly.
- Photography & Event Coverage – On‑Site Technical Support: Act as the primary "camera operator" and technical crew during events, hospital visits, or dignitary visits. You are responsible for setting up lighting, microphones, and tripods.
- B‑Roll Capture: Continuously capture general footage (B‑roll‑supplementary footage) of hospitals, patient interactions (simulated), and Malaysian scenery to build up our stock library for future use.
- Photo Retouching: Select and edit photos from events (bulk editing) for immediate press release usage or social media posting.
- Digital Asset Management & Administration – Library Maintenance: Act as the librarian of our visual content. You must rigorously tag, categorize, and back up all raw footage and final files into our server/cloud so the Senior Executive or Managers can find them instantly.
- Vendor Liaison: Assist in coordinating with external printers or production houses when we need to outsource big jobs, ensuring files are sent in the correct print‑ready formats.
- Equipment Care: Maintain the department's inventory of cameras, lenses, and lights, ensuring batteries are charged and gear is serviced and ready for deployment at any time.
- Additional Responsibilities: To undertake any other duties as directed by the Immediate Supervisor and Management as and when required.
