Job description
Responsibilities
  • Assist the Managers on all corporate secretarial matters and related administrative work. Ensure meeting papers and follow-up items are managed within the stipulated timeline.
  • Assist the team in the arrangements (including logistics) for Board and Board Committee meetings.
  • Ensure all the secretarial records are properly maintained and complies with all requirements under the Companies Act and BNM regulations, which include filing of statutory documents.
  • Attend to requests for certified documents, extracts of minutes of meeting or resolutions, KYC review and any other company secretarial related requests.
  • Prepare minutes of meeting and board resolution for manager's review.
  • Prepare agenda of meeting for manager's review.
  • Attend to compilation and upload of meeting papers and handle all meeting related matters.
  • Attend to statutory filing with SSM and application to Bank Negara Malaysia on Appointment/Re-Appointment of Director.
  • Attend to payments for Directors.
  • Maintain statutory records and attend to administrative tasks such as safekeeping of documents.
  • Attend to adhoc assignments as and when required.
  • Attend relevant trainings on company secretarial practices to improve job knowledge.
Qualifications
  • Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA)
  • Bachelor/Diploma in Corporate Administration or Foundation in Law
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in related fields
  • Good command in English (oral and written)
