Job Purpose

To support and manage the business operations related to contract staffing, including onboarding, contract administration, and ensuring compliance with employment regulations. The role is crucial in maintaining smooth workforce operations aligned with labour laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

Position Overview

The Executive, Business Operations will play a key role in managing contract staff lifecycle activities, ensuring accurate contract administration, and supporting compliance with employment laws and tax regulations. The role requires strong organizational skills, an understanding of salary and benefits structures, and the ability to coordinate effectively across departments and with third-party service providers.

Qualification And Experience
  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in handling contract staffing and HR operations.
  • Prior experience in onboarding, contract issuance, and managing contract renewals.
  • Knowledge of Malaysian labour laws, employment regulations, and statutory compliance (e.g., EPF, SOCSO, EIS).
  • Familiarity with salary structures, staff benefits, and payroll processes.
  • Exposure to Malaysian tax regulations related to employment.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and administrative accuracy.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the end-to-end process of contract staff administration, including onboarding, offboarding, and contract renewals.
  • Ensure employment contracts are accurately prepared and maintained in compliance with labour laws and company policies.
  • Responsible for payroll and HR functions, ensuring the accuracy of salary structures, benefits, and statutory contributions for the contract staff.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors to ensure contract staff needs are met.
  • Maintain records and trackers for contract staff movements, expirations, and renewals.
  • Assist in audits and provide documentation related to employment compliance when required.
  • Keep abreast of changes in employment laws, regulations, and tax policies to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Business Operations team as needed.
