Job summary

A leading production company in Malaysia is seeking an experienced professional for their Events Fabrication Division. You will manage design developments, oversee operations, and coordinate with partners to enhance project delivery. Ideal candidates will possess over 4 years of experience in related industries, with a strong ability to drive revenue and mentor staff. This role may require travel and work on weekends/public holidays.

Job description

Manage design development and provide design input during fabrication planning, working with internal and client-side designers.

Oversee daily operations and quality control at the warehouse and event production venues.

Coordinate with outsourced fabrication partners when needed to support project deliverables or increase capacity.

Lead business development and drive revenue growth for the Events Fabrication Division and new business areas.

Mentor and develop team members, supervisors, and future leaders in operations and business development.

Support monitoring of staff discipline and work ethics at the warehouse and event sites.

Ensure compliance with existing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and develop new SOPs to improve quality, efficiency, and cost control.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement and stay updated on trends in design, fabrication technology, lighting, and materials.

Uphold strict financial integrity and avoid conflicts of interest while maintaining high ethical standards.

Promote and upsell fabrication services, recycled materials from past events, and introduce new ideas and event concepts.

Travel within or outside Malaysia for business purposes as required.

Work on public holidays and weekends when necessary.

Perform any other duties assigned by the Company from time to time.

Salary

• Junior: Fresh graduates or 1–2 years of relevant experience. (RM 3,000 – RM4,000)
• Senior: 4+ years experience in events, fabrication, operations, or project management, with leadership capability. (RM 6,000 – RM7,000)
