Job summary

An events management company in Subang Jaya is seeking an Event Assistant to support the Event Manager in developing concepts and executing events. Responsibilities include managing event production, ensuring high-quality execution, and preparing reports post-event. Ideal candidates should be energetic, able to communicate in Malay, English, and Mandarin, and have experience in events or marketing.

Qualifications

  • Experience in conference production companies or events, marketing or sales.
  • Experience organizing corporate/consumer events is an advantage.
  • Young and energetic with own transport.

Overview

Assisting Event Manager in the development of event concepts, themes, and strategies to align with business goals and brand positioning. Assist in proposing event ideas that are relevant in creating better event experience.

Responsibilities
  • Event Execution: Working with internal colleagues and external agencies to deliver the event program & etc.
  • Event Production & On-site Management: Manage all aspects of event production and on-site event management.
  • Event Planning & Quality: Develop event timelines, checklists, and agendas to ensure that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard of quality.
  • Event Reporting: Work closely with the team in preparing post-event debriefs, compiling feedback and analyzing event performance to identify areas of improvement.
  • Post-Event Reporting: Prepare detailed event reports and recommendations for future improvements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in event operations by implementing best practices and new ideas.
  • Communication: Communicating effectively with the team on progress and keeping all team members up to date.
  • On-site Experience: Ensuring an exceptional onsite experience for all attendees. Includes being well-organized, resourceful, meticulous, able to make quick decisions, and maintaining strong organization and communication skills, along with the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships.
  • Job Requirements:
  • A person with good command of Malay, English & Mandarin (written and spoken)
  • Work experience in conference production companies or events, marketing or sales etc
  • Some experiences in organizing corporate/consumer events would be an advantage.
  • Young and energetic, with own transport.
  • Able to work in a very fast paced environment and able to run multiple projects (multi tasking)
  • We are looking for Mandarin-speaking candidates who will be serving Mandarin-speaking customers.
