Job summary

Solarvest is seeking a dynamic Marketing Intern to support campaigns, social media, content creation, and event activities in Petaling Jaya.

You will assist with branding initiatives and updates to the company website while gaining hands-on exposure to sustainability and renewable energy markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in marketing, communications, business or related field.
• Self-starter with independent mindset and initiative.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to handle ad-hoc requests.
• Experience in graphic design, video editing, social media, copywriting and event management.
• Proficiency with social platforms, MS Office and basic design tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist in marketing campaigns, social media management, and content creation.

• Be on-site during industry events to facilitate activities.
• Develop and update marketing materials (photos, invites, banners, flyers, collaterals).

Responsibilities

• Assist in marketing campaigns, social media management, and content creation.
• Support the team in event planning, executing digital campaigns, website updates and branding initiatives.
• Assist team members to prepare for industry events and be on-site during the events for facilitation.
• Develop and update a range of marketing materials such as event photos, event invites, banners, flyers and other collaterals.
• Create and curate engaging social media content and visuals under the guidance of team members.
• Source and liaise with third‑party partners for potential collaboration with brands.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and work closely with the team to develop creative marketing strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• Self‑starter and independent innovator, able to maximize use of available resources and think out of the box.
• Highly efficient with a strong attention to detail, capable of organising, time‑managing, meeting deadlines, and handling ad‑hoc requests.
• Experience in graphic design, video editing, social media, copywriting and event management.
• Proficient in social media platforms, Microsoft Office, and basic design tools (Canva/Photoshop is a plus).
• CGPA 3.3 and above.
• Active in co‑curriculum, passionate about marketing, digital trends, and sustainability.
• Fluent in multiple languages such as Chinese, English, Malay. Language skill in Hokkien/Cantonese will be an advantage.
• Fresh graduates or experienced candidates are welcomed.
