Job summary
X Mobility Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an EV Technician to perform routine maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on electric vehicle models within its dealership network.
Onboarding requires completing the XPENG Level 1 Certification, with progression contingent on performance; candidates should hold SKM Level 3 in related fields and have hands-on EV experience.
Proficiency with schematics, diagnostic tools, and strong safety mindset in a high-voltage workshop is essential.
Qualifications
- SKM Level 3 in Automotive Technology, EV Maintenance, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering.
- XPENG Level 1 Certification required on onboarding.
- 1–2 years hands-on automotive repair experience; EV experience preferred.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Willingness to work in a high-voltage safety environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform technical troubleshooting, electrical diagnostics, and mechanical repairs on EV models.
- Conduct scheduled servicing, system updates, brake maintenance, and high-voltage safety inspections.
- Install and test high-voltage components, drive units, and vehicle software systems.
- Maintain digital service logs and repair orders, following SOPs.
- Enforce high-voltage safety and PPE compliance in the workshop.
