Job summary

Carro is seeking a Pre-Delivery Technician at Puchong South to perform thorough vehicle inspections, prepare cars for delivery, and coordinate with logistics, sales, and service teams to ensure a smooth handover to customers. You will maintain real-time records and support showroom operations as needed.

The role requires basic knowledge of vehicle systems, a detail-oriented mindset, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

Minimum SPM or Diploma in Automotive, Mechanical, or related field.
1–2 years of automotive inspection or quality control experience preferred; fresh graduates welcome.
Basic understanding of vehicle components and systems.
Detail-oriented, responsible and committed to high-quality standards.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid Class D driving license.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough vehicle inspections based on standard checklists to ensure quality and safety.
Identify and report any defects, damages, or missing parts and ensure issues are resolved before delivery.
Prepare vehicles for delivery, including cleaning, fueling, installing accessories, and ensuring all documents are in place.
Coordinate with logistics, sales, and service teams to schedule and track inspections.
Maintain accurate inspection and delivery records and update the system with vehicle status in real time.
Re-inspect vehicles after any repair or rectification work.
Support showroom and delivery operations during peak periods, including assisting with vehicle movement, inventory checks, and display setups.
Participate in training sessions for new models and updated inspection standards.
