Job description

Responsibilities

• Responsible for field operations, maintenance, upkeep, harvesting, transportation & infrastructure.
• Implement and maintain good agricultural practices as directed by the Company.
• Manage cost control and budgeting for field activities.
• Ensure field operations are appropriately staffed and labor requirements are met.
• Maximise production quality of fresh fruit bunch (FFB).
• Prepare regular reports for head office and maintain communication.
• Plan and implement work schedules to achieve goals and targets.
• Monitor operations to ensure compliance with company practices and guidelines.

Qualifications

• Preferably holds a Degree/Diploma in Agricultural Science, Forestry, Plantation Management or a related discipline; candidates without tertiary education but with relevant experience will be considered.
• At least 8‑10 years of hands‑on experience in palm oil estate management, familiar with field operational management.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented dynamic leader and team player with strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in estate operational management covering planting, costing, budgeting, execution and monitoring is highly desired.
• Able to effectively communicate with and motivate staff and labor force, ensuring employee welfare.
• Willing to work in Bintulu and will be based in the estate.
• Preferred languages: Bahasa Malaysia, English, Bahasa Indonesia.
