Job summary

Continental Tyre PJ Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a seasoned professional to lead Security, Occupational Health, and ESH–facilities management at the PJ plant. You will oversee security operations, health surveillance, and site maintenance to ensure a safe, compliant workplace.

You will manage contractors, liaise with authorities, and drive 5S and continuous improvement initiatives while protecting assets and people.

Qualifications

• Experience in security, occupational health, ESH or facilities management in manufacturing.
• Experience handling contractors and external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of government authorities and regulatory agencies is a plus.

Responsibilities

Security Management

• Manage plant security operations, systems, and security service providers.
• Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards.
• Ensure effective access control, asset protection, and security risk management.
• Investigate security incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate security awareness, emergency preparedness, and crisis management activities.
• Manage security audits, contractor performance, and compliance with legal and Continental security requirements.

Occupational Health Management

• Manage the plant Occupational Health Management System and ensure compliance with legal and Continental requirements.
• Coordinate medical surveillance, health screening, fitness-for-work, industrial hygiene monitoring, and occupational health risk management.
• Maintain occupational health records, regulatory reporting, and liaison with external healthcare providers and authorities.
• Drive employee wellness, health promotion, and workplace well-being initiatives.

Landscape, Cleaning & Housekeeping Management

• Manage cleaning, housekeeping, and landscaping contractors to ensure plant cleanliness, hygiene, and site appearance standards.
• Monitor contractor performance, budgets, service quality, and compliance with ESH requirements.
• Conduct inspections, drive corrective actions, and support 5S and workplace housekeeping initiatives.
• Ensure effective maintenance of facilities and green areas while driving continuous improvement and sustainability initiatives.

Additional Information

The role is to manage all security and occupational health functions and provide operational support for safety, environment, loss prevention, and ESSH management systems at Continental Tyre PJ Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. (CTPJ). The position is responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable legal requirements, Continental standards, and corporate requirements while promoting a secure, healthy, safe, and sustainable workplace.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in security, occupational health, ESH, facilities management, or related functions within a manufacturing environment.

Experience managing contractors, service providers, and external stakeholders.

Experience dealing with government authorities, auditors, and regulatory agencies is an advantage.

Fluent in English communication and strong attention to details with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
