Job summary

ManpowerGroup in Malaysia is hiring a diploma-holding technician to support test equipment installation, setup, and maintenance on a 12-hour shift schedule (7am–7pm and 7pm–7am). The role focuses on equipment qualification, readiness for production, and incident response.

Ideal candidates will have strong English skills and be prepared to assist with NPI activities, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement while adhering to safety and quality procedures. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Diploma qualification required for the role.
• Proficiency in English is essential for communication.
• Willingness to work rotating 12-hour shifts (7am–7pm / 7pm–7am).

Responsibilities

• Perform test equipment installation, setup, conversion and buyoff activities.
• Support equipment transfer, qualification and readiness for production use.
• Assist in new product introduction (NPI) and manufacturing ramp activities.
• Execute tester and handler configuration changes as required.
• Troubleshoot tester, handler and peripheral equipment issues hands-on.
• Diagnose and recover equipment from electrical, mechanical, software and hardware failures.
• Escalate complex issues to engineering and support corrective actions.
• Maintain preventive maintenance tasks and records per SOPs.
