Job Summary:

onsemi is seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Equipment Technician to sustain and operate the fab floor, primarily responsible for resolving equipment and process issues. Technician positions are shift roles working a compressed schedule of 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

Essential Responsibilities:

• Perform, and teach others to perform, preventive maintenance activities.
• React to error messages from factory systems and/or equipment.
• Perform, and teach others to perform, visual inspections (quality checks).
• Recover from process and tool interruptions.
• Identify and address potential areas for improvement to optimize tool availability, cycle time, utilization, and cost.
• Complete all required reporting and documentation.
• Understand and follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures and requirements.
• Participate actively in continuous improvement processes, learning, and skills development.
• Work effectively as part of a team, train new team members as needed, and perform other duties as assigned.
• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner, supporting all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
