The Equipment Engineering Technician is responsible for supporting the maintenance, repair, and optimization of manufacturing equipment. This role involves hands‑on work to ensure equipment reliability and efficiency, as well as assisting engineers with various technical tasks.
Specific Duties And Responsibilities
- Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions, working closely with engineers to implement effective solutions.
- Installation: Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment, ensuring proper functionality and safety.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment modifications.
- Compliance: Ensure all equipment and processes comply with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Support: Provide technical support to production teams, helping to resolve equipment‑related issues promptly.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance and reliability.
- Complying to procedures that aligned with certification of QMS, EMS, and OSH Management Systems/ Standards.
Position Requirement
- Education: Diploma in electronics or electromechanical engineering.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in the electronics industry.
Skill
