Job summary

FLEXTRONICS TECHNOLOGY (PENANG) SDN BHD in Senai, Johor is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Engineer to support our manufacturing teams. You will troubleshoot, repair and calibrate equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and assist with installation and removal of process gear across sites.

The ideal candidate holds a related degree and at least five years of experience in maintenance, with a focus on precision measurements and process reliability, and willingness to travel to other Flex

Qualifications

Degree in related discipline or equivalent experience.
Minimum 5 years of working experience in the related field.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoots machine malfunctions and isolates the failure mechanism.
Repairs the failure mechanism in a cost-effective manner.
Performs preventive maintenance at specified intervals and schedules.
Performs calibrations and re-qualifications on equipment at specified intervals and schedules.
Assists with installation/removal of process equipment.
Records times and problems in equipment logs.
Sets up laboratory equipment to test, evaluate and calibrate instruments.
May travel to other Flex sites or vendors' locations.
Highest level may perform both software and hardware maintenance.
