Qualifications

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Equipment Engineer to join our team. Candidate must have a strong understanding of equipment modification and maintenance in a manufacturing environment, as well as troubleshooting issues related to equipment, and making sure all equipment is up to date and complies with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Modify and enhance new equipment for various manufacturing processes.
• Maintain and repair existing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for all equipment
• Ensure equipment meets all safety standards and complies with regulation.
• Determine root cause of equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot equipment problems and develop solutions.
• Create and maintain equipment performance matrix and track progress over time.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain equipment machinery to ensure its efficient operation.
• Provide technical support and guidance to the maintenance team to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reductions, and increased efficiency.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to equipment design, installation, operation and maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and quality standards.
• Stay up to date with new technologies and equipment advancements to continuously improve the organization's equipment and machinery.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechatronic, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related engineering field.
• Minimum 3 years working experience in equipment design and maintenance with focus on manufacturing process.
• Experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex mechanical/electrical issues.
• Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant tools for equipment design is an advantage.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritized task meet strict deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, and flexibility for handling a wide range of activities.
• Strong decision-making, can work independently, or within a team environment, and have a good problem solving skills
• Understanding and awareness of ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, and RBA Compliances.
