Job summary

Axiom, based in Batu Kawan, Penang, is seeking an Equipment Engineer to support the design, installation, calibration, and ongoing maintenance of process equipment across manufacturing operations. You will troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain critical systems, ensuring high availability and accuracy of instruments and machinery.

The role requires collaboration with process engineers and technicians, and may involve on-site troubleshooting and occasional travel to Flex sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in related field and 5 years of equivalent experience.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic or automated systems.
• Ability to work across teams and support equipment installation and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and isolate failure causes.
• Perform preventive maintenance at scheduled intervals.
• Calibrate and re-qualify equipment as required.
• Assist with installation and removal of process equipment.
