Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and handle dosing chemicals for the Industrial Effluent Treatment System (IETS) in compliance with standard operating procedures.
• Conduct daily monitoring and performance recording for IETS and Air Pollution Control System (APCS), including wastewater sampling for both internal and external laboratory analysis.
• Monitor key environmental parameters, ensuring compliance with regulatory and operational standards.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of operational data, sampling logs, and laboratory test results for reporting and audit purposes.
• Operate and oversee the performance of water and wastewater treatment equipment, such as pumps, filters, and chemical dosing systems.
• Adjust chemical dosages and treatment processes based on real‑time effluent water quality data to ensure optimal treatment outcomes.
• Perform in‑situ testing and jar tests to support process optimization and troubleshooting.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance and minor corrective repairs on mechanical and electrical components to minimize downtime and maintain system integrity.

Job Qualifications

• Diploma / Certificate in Environmental or related field, with more than 3 years of experience in manufacturing / chemical industry.
• Have communication skills, work experience, professional skills, and planning abilities.
• Good knowledge of related laws and regulations such as OSH Act 1994, Environmental Act, ISO 14001.
