JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with environmental, safety & health laws, regulations, and company and customer requirements and standards.
  • Manage waste disposal, recycling programs, hazardous materials handling, and pollution-control practices.
  • Maintain environmental monitoring and records (air emissions, noise, chemical, etc.).
  • Support sustainability initiatives and environmental impact reduction projects.
  • Conduct routine safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments across all work activities, processes and equipment.
  • Lead Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), and risk assessment (HIRARC).
  • Investigate workplace accidents, near misses, and incidents; prepare reports and corrective action plans.
  • Enforce proper use of PPE, machinery safeguards, and safe work procedures.
  • Lead safety drills (fire, emergency response, first aid) and safety meeting.
  • Oversee workplace health programs, including ergonomics, occupational hygiene, and employee wellness initiatives.
  • Monitor exposure to hazardous substances and ensure compliance with occupational health standards.
  • Coordinate medical surveillance programs when required.
  • Develop and deliver training on ESH policies, emergency response, chemical safety, and other required topics.
  • Promote employee engagement in ESH activities through campaigns, meetings, and inspections.
  • Maintain accurate ESH documentation, permits, and regulatory reports.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual ESH performance reports for management.
  • Prepare safety meeting minutes and follow-up on action items.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to safety and environmental compliance.
  • Keep workplace safe and healthy by ensuring that policies and safety procedures are followed.

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
