Job summary

A medium-sized manufacturing enterprise is seeking a Service Desk Analyst at the entry level based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The role involves providing the first line of support, handling incidents, and requests while demonstrating excellent customer service skills and a strong understanding of enterprise technologies. Candidates should have a degree (preferred) and be ready to work in a busy team environment. The position offers a full-time, permanent contract with various responsibilities, including incident management and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Good understanding of enterprise technologies.
  • Experience working in a team on a 24x7 shift basis.
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry and knowledge of related business applications.

Responsibilities

  • Incident and Service Request logging, prioritization and assignment.
  • Managing the Service Desk number during shift.
  • FTF (First Time Fix) of Incidents within SLA.
  • Accurate assignment of Incidents and Requests to IS teams.
  • Capturing required details to log tickets.
  • Reporting on statistics as required.

Excellent Customer Service skills
Strong foundation and/or passion for computing and IT
Attention to detail
Analytical skills and troubleshooting abilities
Strong communication skills in English
Ability to work under pressure

Degree qualified or similar level of higher education
