Entry-Level Consulting Analyst / Developer

Location: Petaling Jaya (nearby Paradigm Mall and the upcoming SS7 LRT3 station along the Shah Alam Line)

Position Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Entry-Level Data Analyst / Developer to join our team. This role is perfect for recent university or college graduates who are eager to launch their careers in IT consultancy and Data & AI field.

The job may involve 5 to 10% international/interstate travel, depending on client needs. Candidates with openness to working with people from diverse cultures will thrive.

The successful candidate will assist with:

• Web application development
• Data project implementation
• Odoo ERP implementation
• Administrative tasks and pre-sales activities

Key Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of data analytics, data engineering, and AI/ML projects.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of custom applications.
• Contribute to the implementation of Odoo modules and their customized elements.
• Provide administrative support, including project documentation, knowledgebase updates and reporting.
• Participate in pre-sales activities, such as preparing proposals, presentations, demos, proof-of-concept, and prototypes.
• Collaborate with team members from within and outside the company to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, or other related fields with quantitative elements.
• Non-traditional education backgrounds with relevant, proven skills and experience are welcome.
• Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal.
• Proactive, can‑do attitude with a willingness to learn and try new things.
• Basic knowledge or exposure to Python programming language.
• Good problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with data analytics tools and techniques such as SSIS, cloud-native AWS/Azure services (e.g., SageMaker, Bedrock), Databricks, Tableau, and SAS.
• Basic understanding of web application development.
• Good command of written and spoken Arabic and/or Malay is advantageous.
• Strong interest in business domains (e.g., human capital management, supply chain management etc).
