Job description

Facilitate technologies leadership and work with external partners to design and develop technology capabilities blueprints for technology modernization. Supports and participates in the conceptualization and development of technology policy, methodologies, models, techniques and strategies.

Applies extensive industry and enterprise knowledge to identify and recommend modernized target technology platform to support technology strategic initiatives.

Lead the enterprise technology architecture roadmap by ensuring the cost and benefit of any recommended architecture or solution is aligned with enterprise strategic initiatives.

Technology Leaders - lead the discussion with senior technology stakeholders in defining and developing technology requirements and translating into high level architecture.

Project members - govern the enterprise architecture to ensure extra large and large projects are aligned with technology requirements of the projects

LOBs - lead the periodic reviews on existing IT solutions to identify opportunities for cost reduction and improved performance.

Define the requirements, principles and models that guide technology decisions for the enterprise including forming the enterprise architecture future state.

Define high level migration plans to address the gaps between current and future state, typically in synchronization with the IT budget & other capital planning processes

Lead the analysis of current technology environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement & analysis of technology/market trends.

Assist with designing the governance activities associated with ensuring enterprise architecture (EA) compliance.

Oversee or consult on technology implementation & modification activities particularly for new or shared infrastructure solutions.

Oversee or consult on application development projects to harmonize systems with the EA & identify when is necessary to modify EA to meet project needs.

Oversee and facilitate the research, evaluation and selection of hardware and software technology, product standards, as well as the design of standard configurations
