Job Title: Enterprise Architect – Insurance Domain (General & Motor Insurance)

Certification: TOGAF or equivalent Enterprise Architecture certification required

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and certified Enterprise Architect with deep domain expertise in General Insurance and Motor Insurance. The ideal candidate has a strong background in legacy transformation, cloud‑native architecture, API‑led modernization, and multi‑team and phase delivery governance – with the ability to connect business vision to architecture roadmaps and ensure consistent implementation across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and govern modernization roadmap for transforming legacy platforms into modular, service‑oriented, cloud‑ready architectures.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, solution architects, and development teams to ensure solutions meet enterprise architecture guidelines.
  • Provide architecture oversight and governance across the delivery lifecycle, ensuring compliance with business and technical standards.
  • Lead architecture assessments, capability modeling, and gap analysis within the General and Motor Insurance domains.
  • Design future‑state architectures that support core insurance processes such as policy administration, claims management, underwriting, and customer engagement.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and their potential impact on the insurance landscape.
  • Drive standardization, reuse, and innovation across IT systems.
  • Facilitate architecture reviews and approval processes.
  • Produce architecture decisions, reference models, and modernization guidelines consumable by delivery squads.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Hands‑on experience as an Enterprise Architect with direct involvement in General Insurance and Motor Insurance projects.
  • Strong understanding of insurance core systems, digital channels, and industry regulations.
  • Experience with architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) and tools (e.g., ArchiMate, Sparx EA).
  • Certified Enterprise Architect (e.g., TOGAF Certified or equivalent).
  • Certified in AWS: Solution Architect (or equivalent).
  • Proven ability to design and implement enterprise‑grade solutions in complex environments.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of insurance standards (e.g., BNM, ISM).
  • Experience with coexistence architecture or multi‑phase modernization involving both legacy and modern platforms.
  • Familiarity with modern architecture paradigms (e.g., microservices, API‑led integration, cloud‑native design).
  • Experience with legacy system modernization in the insurance sector.
