Job description

This is a part-time Entrepreneur Development Program role at RMA Global Enterprise based in Perai, Penang. You will play a key part in empowering and supporting local entrepreneurs in the community to develop their businesses and achieve their goals.

What you’ll be doing

Providing coaching, mentoring and training to local entrepreneurs to help them build and grow their businesses

Organising and facilitating workshops, seminars and events to educate entrepreneurs on various topics such as business planning, marketing, finance and operations

Assisting entrepreneurs in accessing resources, funding and networks to support the development of their businesses

Collaborating with community partners and stakeholders to identify entrepreneurial opportunities and challenges

Monitoring and evaluating the progress and impact of the Entrepreneur Development Program

Continuously learning and staying up-to-date with best practices in entrepreneurship and community development

What we’re looking for

Strong background and experience in entrepreneurship, small business development or community development

Excellent communication, facilitation and coaching skills to effectively engage with and support entrepreneurs

Proactive and creative problem-solving abilities to identify and address the unique needs of local entrepreneurs

Passionate about empowering and supporting local communities to thrive

Knowledge of the local business landscape, resources and stakeholders in the Perai, Penang area

Flexible and adaptable to work part-time hours to accommodate the needs of the program and entrepreneurs
