An educational institution in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an enthusiastic English educator to engage students in learning through novels and interactive discussions. You will deliver lessons that develop critical thinking and encourage independence among learners aged 7–17. The role requires strong organizational skills and a passion for applying creative teaching methods. We value candidates who are eager to learn and adapt to our educational philosophy, ensuring a fun and growth-centered environment. Competitive compensation offered.
Deliver engaging English lessons using novels, stories, discussions, and games.
Guide students through comprehension, structured writing, creative writing, grammar revision, and oral expression.
Facilitate critical thinking instead of spoon-feeding answers.
Observe how students think, write, and respond — and adjust your approach deliberately.
Support students in building confidence, independence, and strong communication habits.
Keep lessons purposeful, fun, and centred around students’ growth.
Mark students’ writing thoughtfully between lessons, identifying real patterns in their mistakes.
Give targeted feedback in the following session, highlighting how to improve structure, grammar, and clarity.
Uphold our expectation of minimum 30-minute writing sessions and meaningful critique.
Use our programme frameworks (Storytellers, Adventurers, Critical Thinkers, Dreamers) to plan modules around novels and specific skills.
Build lessons that are balanced — reading, grammar revision, writing, oral work, and gamified activities.
Maintain consistency in tone, structure, and expectations across the centre.
You’re not here to chase “A’s”. You’re here because you believe children deserve more.
