Job description

Deliver engaging English lessons using novels, stories, discussions, and games.

Guide students through comprehension, structured writing, creative writing, grammar revision, and oral expression.

Facilitate critical thinking instead of spoon-feeding answers.

2. Mentor, Not Just Instruct

Observe how students think, write, and respond — and adjust your approach deliberately.

Support students in building confidence, independence, and strong communication habits.

Keep lessons purposeful, fun, and centred around students’ growth.

3. Provide High-Quality Feedback

Mark students’ writing thoughtfully between lessons, identifying real patterns in their mistakes.

Give targeted feedback in the following session, highlighting how to improve structure, grammar, and clarity.

Uphold our expectation of minimum 30-minute writing sessions and meaningful critique.

4. Plan Lessons with Intent

Use our programme frameworks (Storytellers, Adventurers, Critical Thinkers, Dreamers) to plan modules around novels and specific skills.

Build lessons that are balanced — reading, grammar revision, writing, oral work, and gamified activities.

Maintain consistency in tone, structure, and expectations across the centre.
