What are the hiring criteria?

To be considered, you must be currently enrolled in school. Those graduating in Spring 2022 will
be considered. All years and majors are encouraged to apply.


Intern candidates should have demonstrated academic excellence, strong leadership, communication
skills and technical excellence in their respective fields.


Intern candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S. without Dexcom sponsorship, be enrolled

What is the hiring timeline for Dexcom Interns?

Intern openings will be posted by December 6th. The interview process will take place in the winter starting in January. Most hiring decisions will be made by February.


The interview process may vary, but we typically conduct intern interviews via phone or Zoom.




Will this internship be onsite?

Dexcom hosted a virtual internship program in 2020 and 2021! Our offices are open, and employees are assigned workplace modes that range from fully remote to assigned seating. In person positions are typically aligned to an onsite condition, i.e., lab or manufacturing work. Interns typically mirror the workplace mode of their leader. All intern job postings will indicate workplace mode.




When do your internships start and end?

We have two start dates: Cohort 1 starts May 23, 2022 and Cohort 2 starts June 20, 2022.


Internships are typically 10 weeks in length; however the program was extended for over 60% of our interns.





What will I be paid?

Yes, all our internships are paid. Our internship rates are determined by degree, year in school, and market data to ensure competitive pay.


*If students are required to relocate, they may be eligible for a relocation stipend.





What will I be paid?

Dexcom offers competitive pay aligned to both level of education and skill. A housing stipend may
be applicable based on your proximity to the role.





Will this lead to a full-time offer?

Depending on the position and the department, interns may have the opportunity to continue their employment with Dexcom \u2013 and we are delighted when they do! Our interns may apply for full-time opportunities and are given strong consideration if qualified





Is it a structured program?

Our intern program is designed to provide support without constraint. Leaders will utilize a flexible framework to give students real work experience and exposure to industry leading technology.


Our internship program is designed to be enhanced by a designated project. Leaders may not have a single project in mind, but maybe a series of shorter projects.


As of right now, Dexcom internships only take place in the summer. In the future, we hope to expand into other parts of the year and create co-ops and rotational programs





Will I meet other interns?

Yes! There will be several opportunities to network with your fellow interns. Interns meet weekly for learning sessions, engagement with guest speakers, philanthropic opportunities and more.
