The Engineering Technician provides essential technical support to the engineering and project management teams by performing hands-on tasks, tests, and maintenance. This role bridges theoretical design and practical application, ensuring that equipment, systems, and prototypes function according to specifications. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adept with tools and technology, and thrives in both field and lab environments.

Technical Support & Testing

• Assemble, install, calibrate, and maintain engineering prototypes, equipment, and systems.
• Conduct tests and experiments according to engineering guidelines; collect, record, and analyze data.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions in equipment, instruments, or systems and perform repairs or adjustments.
• Operate specialized software and hardware for design (CAD), data acquisition, and analysis.

Project & On Site Support

• Support engineers in project planning, execution, and on-site implementation.
• Assist in fieldwork, equipment deployment, and system commissioning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, production, quality control) to meet project milestones.
• Provide training and guidance to junior technicians or operators on equipment use.

Continuous Improvement

• Recommend improvements to designs, processes, or testing methods based on technical findings.
• Stay updated on new technologies, tools, and industry best practices.
