About the team:

This team is working on the future of data integration at Nintex! We're transforming how our customers leverage data from external systems and APIs to build powerful low-code/no-code solutions on Nintex platform. You'll work at the forefront of building cloud services involving key aspects of the Nintex platform, including data fabric, events, integration systems, and AI capabilities.

In the near term, the team's primary focus is to centralize connectors across multiple capabilities of our platform, ensuring a cohesive and streamlined experience for integrating data into your solution. By unifying how connectors are managed and accessed, we aim to simplify and enhance the way our customers bring data together within the Nintex ecosystem.

It’s an exciting time to be joining this team!

About the role:

As an Engineering Manager, you will be a pivotal leader, driving technical excellence and fostering a high-performing team. You will ensure the delivery of high-quality, secure, and reliable code across our technology stack (e.g., C#, NodeJS), while upholding SLO/SLI standards. You will establish strong cross-functional partnerships with Product Management and UX, translating strategic product roadmaps into well-defined, actionable features.

You champion a delivery approach that prioritizes agility and is driven by metrics and outcomes. You will use these metrics to manage team performance, mitigate delivery risks, and meet commitments. Cross-team collaboration is critical to your success, as you'll be responsible for identifying and managing project dependencies to ensure seamless execution. You will also be responsible for integrating quality assurance and security practices into our development workflows and pipelines, as well as providing technical leadership in incident resolution and risk management.

Ultimately, your role is to build and support a thriving team. You will be responsible for people development, including coaching, mentoring, and leading hiring and workforce planning. You will cultivate a positive, values-driven culture that empowers your team to innovate and achieve exceptional results.

To be successful, we think you need:

  • Extensive Software Development Experience: Over 5 years of building and delivering enterprise-grade software, preferably in multi-tenant SaaS platforms.
  • Engineering Leadership: Proven experience in people management, mentoring, and guiding engineers to deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • API Expertise: Skilled in designing, building, and managing RESTful APIs using tools like Swagger/OpenAPI and API gateways.
  • Cloud Architecture Knowledge: Strong grasp of scalable, reliable, and secure cloud service design and architectural best practices.
  • Agile and SDLC Proficiency: Experienced in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and capable of managing the full software development lifecycle.
  • Collaborative and Growth-Oriented: Effective collaborator in code reviews and design discussions, with a continuous learning mindset.

What’s in it for you?
