Responsibilities

• Conduct structural and fluid dynamics analyses for BBraun medical components using Finite Element Analysis (FEA), Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), and other numerical methods.
• Develop and refine simulation methodologies for FEA and CFD, including result verification, validation, and comprehensive documentation.
• Execute and support simulation-related tasks within the scope of development projects.
• Collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams and deliver results within tight deadlines under pressure.
• Provide accurate, reliable, and consistent simulation results and recommendations to support informed decision‑making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or certificate in CAD.
• Proficient with FEA (software) Structural & CFD software such as 3Dx Simulia, Abaqus or SolidWorks.
• Knowledge in FEA structural (linear & nonlinear) & CFD analysis and material characterisation; metal, plastic, rubber & hyperelastic material.
• Will be an advantage: knowledge in plastic component design and injection moulding process.
