Job summary

A leading construction firm in Klang City is looking for a Quality Assurance and Control Engineer to assist in supervising and inspecting construction work on site. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma or Degree in Architectural or Civil Engineering and 2-3 years of relevant experience, with strong communication and organizational skills. This role requires proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia, and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, especially PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• 2 - 3 years' experience managing Quality Management System in construction.
• Experience with ISO9001, EMS14001, OHSAS18001.

Job description

Assist the Sr. Engineer - Architectural in carrying out supervision and inspection work at site.

Ensure building materials and work done at site are properly handled, stored and protected.

Monitor architectural work carried out by sub-contractors at site.

Report non-conformance of workmanship and materials to superior.

Prepare site daily report on architectural work.

Ensure that Quality Management System (QMS) procedures are implemented at site.

Receive, inspect and verify building materials delivered at site.

Ensure safety measures are implemented at site.

Coordinate architectural drawing with other consultant input i.e. C&S and M&E.

Ensure architectural deliverables to met datelines set in Master Work Program.

Coordinate with construction team on the architectural construction and detail drawings.

Job Requirement

Diploma or Degree in Architectural, Civil Engineering/ Building Technology or its equivalent

2 - 3 year working experience in managing Quality Management System in accordance with ISO9001:2008, Environmental Management System EMS14001:2004, Health and Safety Management System OHSAS18001:2007 in construction industry.

Knowledge and experience in CONQUAS and/or QLASSIC will be added advantage.

Good communication, interpersonal, organizing, planning and analytical skills.

Proficient in both spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Proficient in Microsoft office application, especially PowerPoint report presentation.

Possess own transport and willing to travel to project sites, including working at Bandar Bukit Tinggi, Klang
