Job summary

A manufacturing company in Bintulu, Malaysia is seeking an engineering professional for maintenance preparation and operations guidance. The ideal candidate must have a degree in Engineering (preferably Chemical or Mechanical) and be proficient in Microsoft Office. Responsibilities include advising field staff, troubleshooting equipment issues, and preparing for plant operations. Fresh graduates are welcome, and knowledge of polysilicon processes is an advantage. Travel may be required based on work needs.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering background, preferably Chemical and Mechanical.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for equipment maintenance and plant operation.
• Advise field staff on equipment operation and daily reports.
• Troubleshoot operation problems as per procedures.
• Communicate with DCS staff for trouble prevention.
• Guide field staff during scheduled start up and shut down.
• Minimize downtime by troubleshooting equipment and process issues.

• To advise field staff on operation of field equipment to adjust plant operation conditions and preparation of daily operating/patrol report.
• Address the problem on operation condition according to troubleshooting procedure.
• To communicate with DCS staff and other staff for prevention of troubles across the entire plant.
• To guide field staff on field operations associate with scheduled start up and shut down.
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues to minimize downtime.

Requirement

• Degree in Engineering background but preferably Chemical and Mechanical.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Read, speak, write in English, Bahasa Malaysia.
• Applicant must be willing to travel based on work requirement.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; having experience in polysilicon-related manufacturing processes is an advantage.
