Dyson Institute in Malaysia seeks a Product Performance Engineer to quantify and optimize hair appliance performance. You will design tests, build predictive models, and analyze data using Minitab, MATLAB, and Excel. Collaborate with design teams to deliver drying and styling performance aligned with product vision.
The role requires a bachelor’s in Mechanical/Mechatronics and 3+ years in product design, with strong communication in English and experience in CAD/CAE tools.

The Technology Development department comprises of diverse groups of curious, world class engineering specialists. We are experts in our fields, and we ensure Dyson products are on the edge of what’s possible. The department encompasses specialist groups across different disciplines – Product Performance, Acoustics, Fluid Dynamics, Structural Dynamics, Materials. This role resides within the Product Performance group, which provides the technical analysis of hair appliance product performance. Such quantifying and optimising how well the product dries and styles hair.
