About the role

Autowell (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a talented Mechanical Process Engineer to join our team in our Shah Alam, Selangor location. This is a full‑time position that will play a crucial role in our Electrical/Electronic Engineering operations.

What you will be doing:
  • Designing, developing and implementing mechanical systems, fixtures and processes to support manufacturing operations
  • Analysing and troubleshooting mechanical issues to improve equipment reliability, efficiency and overall productivity
  • Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical components, tooling and systems
  • Monitoring and optimising mechanical equipment, machines and production lines to maintain high performance
  • Documenting and reporting on mechanical processes, engineering improvements, projects and initiatives
  • Providing technical support and guidance to operators, technicians and production teams on mechanical‑related matters
  • Staying up‑to‑date with the latest developments in mechanical engineering, automation and manufacturing technologies, and implementing innovative solutions where relevant
What we're looking for
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • 0–2 years of experience in a mechanical engineering role, preferably within manufacturing environments (fresh graduates are welcome to apply)
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, machinery, components, and manufacturing processes
  • Proficient in using mechanical engineering software and tools (e.g., CAD, SolidWorks, Creo, or similar)
  • Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities
  • Commitment to continuous learning and improvement
