Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Penang, Malaysia, seeks an Engineer for NVM QRA to join the Development Quality team. You will define NAND qualification plans, coordinate cross-functional teams, and drive qualification cycles to ensure reliability.

You will analyze test data, perform risk assessments, and apply AI tooling to automate reporting and root-cause analysis. A background in semiconductor QA or product engineering is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in QA or product engineering in semiconductor.
• Experience with failure analysis is a plus.

Responsibilities and Tasks

• Define NAND qualification plan
• Facilitate and manage qualification
• Perform qualification test data analysis, Perform risk assessment at all decision points within qualification cycle.
• Perform failure analysis on rejects to identify the failure mode and mechanisms that will lead to successful corrective actions and/or preventive actions.
• Coordinate with Research and Development and Product Engineering teams to comprehend new reliability issues with resolutions and assess their impact to customer risk and reliability.
• Leverage AI tools to automate reporting, defect classification, or root cause analysis

Skills and Experience

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with strong attention to details.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing is critical in this role.
• Good organization skills and ability to multitask and coordinate between multiple issue at any given time.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and handle pressure situations in a professional manner.
• Candidates with experience in the semiconductor industry as QA or Product engineer are preferred. Experience in failure analysis is a plus.
• Experience applying AI tools to improve engineering productivity or reporting efficiency is a plus.

Education

• Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 year working experiences.
