A global technology leader is seeking Engineering Graduates as Engineer in Trainee (EIT) for a structured 1-year training program in Kuala Lumpur. Job Description

Rockwell Automation recruits Engineering Graduates (Freshers or with 1 to 2 years of experience) with the title of "Engineer in Trainee (EIT)". In this role you will undergo a structured 1‑year training program which includes classroom trainings as well as job rotations in multiple functions. As part of this program you are entitled to choose your career path by selecting one of the functions you have experienced during the job rotations.

You will initially report to the Regional Training Business Manager, AP and have a hybrid schedule working in the Philippines. After completion of the training program, you will report to your functional manager depending on the career path selection in the rotation program.

Your Responsibilities
  • Actively engage and demonstrate a learning attitude in the first 1‑year training program.
  • Leverage trainings and job rotation opportunities, by developing and demonstrating your capabilities during the rotation program.
  • After the 1‑year training program, choose a function from the following:
    • Manufacturing Operations Management/Information Solutions Engineer
    • Technical Proposal Engineer
  • After choosing the specific function, your roles & responsibilities may vary based on the function you chose. Some major responsibilities may include the following:
  • Support manufacturing industries in their innovate, design, operate, and maintain lifecycle phases.
  • Visit manufacturing industries to deliver projects or services.
  • Develop & deliver digital transformation solutions to manufacturing industries.
  • Provide cybersecurity & network solutions to industries for secure & sustainable operations.
  • Program and commission automation products & software projects.
  • Provide automation products & software services including troubleshooting and maintenance.
  • Design & develop automation/MES projects.
The Essentials - You Will Have
  • Bachelor Engineering Degree in any of the following functions: Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Electronics & Communication.
  • Fresh graduate or less than 12 months of experience in the field.
  • Adequate knowledge of core electrical, electronics, computer science and programming languages.
  • The ability to travel 75% of the time.

  • Certifications in core subjects, industry internship, innovative projects.
  • Experimental mindset, creativity, and the ability to deliver innovative solutions.
