A leading healthcare company in Penang is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to manage daily operational tickets and support production environments. Job description

• Manages and resolve daily operational tickets within SLA to ensure smooth business continuity.
• Coordinates software and application deployments into various environments.
• Monitors and supports production environment
• Supports escalated issues from front-line technicians.
• Analyzes system performance and implement optimizations to improve efficiency to address the fast-evolving infrastructure.
• Develops tools and automation to improve workflows and processes.
• Manages access provisioning and enforce security best practices.
• Supports all Company initiatives, policies, operating procedures, processes.
• Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
• Must be able to juggle priorities and multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Work can be routine and challenging both at the same time.
• This position requires physical presence at workplace.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, IT or related disciplines. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Candidates with working experience with at least 1-2 years working experience is a plus, especially in SRE environment and familiar with database, operating systems or middleware systems.
• Good understanding of software programming, database knowledge, networking concepts, and cloud centric architectures & microservices provides an advantage.
• Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with strong communication skills, in order to work closely with US and EU team and a sense of ownership and drive.
• Ability to handle multiple assignment and perform in a diverse cross-functional team environment
