Responsibilities

1. Oversee daily maintenance, preventive maintenance, modification projects and trouble-shooting of field electrical, instrumentation and control devices, PLC, DCS, QCS and frequency inverters.
2. Plan and assist maintenance of electrical & instrument installations, operation, monthly shut down, upgrading projects & other ads-hoc projects.
3. Lead a team of technicians in ensuring maintenance, daily operations and projects are effectively and efficiently carried out.
4. Provision of internal operations and technical support.
5. Identify and implement improvement maintenance in order to prolong the life span of equipment.
6. Responsible for maintenance cost and inventory cost for department.
7. Lead and implement internal maintenance and process improvement initiatives.
8. Prepare necessary weekly, monthly and yearly technical reports.

Job Requirements

1. Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree / Post Graduate Diploma / Professional Degree in Engineering (Electrical / Electronic) or equivalent.
2. At least 1-3 years of relevant working experience in heavy industries/Manufacturing.
3. Fresh graduates with good technical knowledge / hands-on knowledge in electrical / instrumentation & control are encouraged to apply.
4. Good analytical mind and critical thinking skills.
5. Able to work under tough environment and under less supervision.
6. Good oral and written command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
