WE ARE HIRING — ENERGY MODELLING ENGINEER

Join BSD Consultancy in shaping the future of sustainable buildings. We’re looking for a detail‑oriented and technically driven Energy Modelling Engineer to support our growing portfolio of green building and low‑carbon projects. If you're passionate about performance‑driven design and simulation, we want to hear from you.

Develop and run energy models using tools such as E20 HAP, IESVE, or other relevant simulation software.

Support green building certification submissions (e.g., Green Mark, GreenRE, GBI, LEEDetc ) through accurate energy performance assessments.

Collaborate with M&E engineers, architects, and sustainability consultants to optimize building energy efficiency from concept to completion.

If required, conduct HVAC load calculations, daylighting analysis, and thermal comfort simulations to inform design decisions.

Interpret and apply local and international energy codes, standards, and benchmarks (e.g., MS1525, ASHRAE, SNI, Singapore Standard).

Prepare technical reports and documentation for submission to certification bodies and authorities.

Stay updated on emerging simulation tools, decarbonization strategies, and passive design innovations.

🎓 Qualifications
  • Must-Have: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering, Building Services, Energy Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Must-Have: Proficiency in E20 HAP, IESVE, or equivalent energy modelling software.
  • Added Advantage: Experience with green building certification frameworks (LEED, Green Mark, GreenRE, GBI, etc.).
  • Added Advantage: Familiarity with GHG accounting, life cycle analysis, or carbon impact assessments.
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Passion for energy efficiency, sustainability, and continuous improvement.
