The Energy Management Specialist plays a pivotal role within the Energy Management Team by managing risk, optimizing performance, and providing robust governance for high-value energy sourcing across East Asia Pacific.
Reporting to the Energy Management Director and partnering closely with Front Office, local Finance, and the End-to-End Optimization Team in Kuala Lumpur, this role bridges data analytics, financial control, and digital tool implementation.
Key responsibilities include managing energy index balances, conducting invoice checks, tracking hedging transactions, and accurately computing energy costs to maximize operational value.
Additionally, the engineer oversees consolidated emissions reporting and governance to support the organization's Energy Transition goals.
