Job summary

PJ Integrated Centre of Advanced Surgery and Oncology (Picaso) in Malaysia seeks a Nurse Manager to lead the endoscopy nursing team, guiding recruitment, training and performance management. You will develop policies for the endoscopy unit, ensure regulatory compliance, manage scheduling, equipment, inventory and budget, and foster a collaborative, growth-oriented work environment.

The role requires a nursing degree, extensive nursing experience, APC registration, BLS, and preferred GI

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Nursing.
• 10 years nursing experience with at least 2 years in a management level.
• Valid APC from Malaysia Nursing Board.
• Current BLS certification.
• Preferred Post Basic in Gastrointestinal.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to the endoscopy nursing staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and protocols for the endoscopy unit, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
• Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, open communication, and professional growth.
• Manage scheduling of procedures, staff, and equipment to ensure efficient and effective use of resources.
• Oversee procurement and maintenance of equipment, supplies, and medications required for endoscopy procedures.
• Monitor and manage the unit's budget, including identifying cost-saving opportunities and optimizing resource allocation.
