Job Description

Mercure Kuala Lumpur Glenmarie is seeking an experienced Reservation Agent to join our dynamic team in Shah Alam, Selangor. As a Hotel Duty Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the smooth and efficient operation of the hotel, ensuring an exceptional guest experience. This full-time position will have you leading the front office and guest services team, while also contributing to the overall strategic direction of the hotel.

  • Consistently provide exceptional, friendly, and engaging service to all guests and clients who call or email.
  • Handle incoming reservations via phone, email, and online booking platforms accurately.
  • Book individual and group reservations, enter rooming lists, and update information in the system.
  • Recommend property facilities, assist with guest information, and address special requests.
  • Maximize revenue through up‑selling and promoting hotel products and services.
  • Maintain accurate records of reservations, updates, and administrative documentation.
  • Communicate with the Sales team regarding group bookings and special requests.
  • Coordinate with Front Office and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
